Meet Fay
In-Person & Telehealth
Fay O’Neill (she/her), LCSW-S, SEP, NARM Master Therapist, CYT-1000, TCTSY-F, is an attachment-focused, Polyvagal-informed somatic psychotherapist and certified trauma sensitive yoga and meditation teacher. Fay is the owner and sole therapist at Embodied Therapy and Healing Arts, located in Bartlesville, Ok. Fay’s work is grounded in the belief that the body holds the story of our lived experiences, and that healing unfolds most powerfully when we create space for the body’s wisdom—often suppressed by trauma—to emerge slowly and safely in the present moment.
Fay offers a therapeutic relationship rooted in shared power, consent, and attuned presence. As an attachment-based therapist, Fay understands that complex trauma arises in relationship—and must be healed in relationship—through experiences of co-regulation, rupture and repair, trust, choice, and authenticity. Fay works directly with the psychobiological adaptive survival strategies and patterns that evolved through unresolved trauma using practices with roots in somatic psychology, relational psychodynamic psychology, and interpersonal neurobiology.
A core part of Fay’s work involves the use of psychoeducation as a tool for empowerment and nervous system regulation. By helping clients make sense of their internal experiences through the lens of neuroscience, attachment, and trauma theory, she adds an additional layer of safety—contextualizing what might otherwise feel confusing or overwhelming. This supports clients in developing greater self-compassion and agency as they navigate their healing journey.
With a background in social work and a deep commitment to social justice, Fay also holds space for exploring how intersecting identities—such as race, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, religion, and ability—shape one’s experience of safety, connection, and belonging. She recognizes how systems of oppression and marginalization contribute to both individual and collective trauma.
Fay’s integrative, somatically based approach blends bottom-up and contemplative, mindful modalities including Somatic Experiencing (SE), the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), Polyvagal Theory, Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Compassionate Inquiry, Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), mindfulness meditation, and iRest Yoga Nidra. Her work supports the healing of trauma, anxiety, depression, and stress, by fostering deeper integration of the whole person and restoring a greater capacity for connection and aliveness. Healing complex trauma is a vehicle for transformation on a personal and collective level.
